No one can truly tell you how life will turn out because it’s literally one day at a time. What I can do is share with you my journey. I haven’t always been this version of myself. I have loved and hurt people. I have made many mistakes in life. The actual location state and city of home has been a place I fought years to not relocate from because I felt I would forget the part of me I wanted to hold tight to. I thought I could hold on to all the friendships, relationships, the familiarity forever, but what I realize is that none of this that you leave behind makes home alone. I believe home is the memories you created, the good and bad choices you made growing up, the lessons you learned, the people you met, and family you were raised with makes home something you cherish and define in your heart. Well, this is my story and what I recently learned. You don’t really leave home when all of your upbringing is what helped you become who you are today or who you are working to become. In life you outgrow a lot, one thing for sure you choose to hold in your heart the memories and all of the rest I listed above. You will always have that part or you if you choose to hold on to those memories, people and moments in your heart. We outgrow people and that’s okay. The good thing about home being defined and held in your heart is you get to remember those who crossed your path as a part of your journey. Don’t fear losing a part of you. Don’t fear letting go either. Embrace the opportunity to create new memories, meet new people, have a new start, and to be the best you can be. Transition, changes, newness is all a part of life we have to at some point accept and embrace. Make the best of your life. Always remember home is in your heart so you don’t have to worry about losing that part. Love you and stay encouraged.
