Can you afford to put healing on hold any longer? Let me share from my current place, I can’t stop my healing process. These past few days I had to face again what caused my mental and emotional breakdown this year. What I had to choose was continuous healing ❤️🩹. No matter what I have to forgive those who hurt me, heal from the damage they caused me, and rebuild in my present state. Around the age 15, I was diagnosed with Raynauld’s disease. Before the proper diagnosis, I went from hospital to hospital being misdiagnosed and on medication to medication that caused my hair to thin out plus other complications. In my high school years, I stood out now because I had to have accommodations that I wasn’t ready to accept. I started to stress and have anxiety which triggered my condition more and more. I begin to dislike myself more and more. I lived for years in my condition versus learning to heal with my condition by acknowledging and accepting the fact that I can heal and learn ways to adapt. I had to heal overtime. Now 16 years later and I can say I am healed. I can see the side effects of it in my hands here and there but I haven’t had an episode of the physical and internal pain in about a year. So I share with you about different areas of my healing that I chose to say Now it’s time I heal. Now is the time I start the process and see it through because I don’t and didn’t want to spend anymore time with the same unhealthy side effects of anger, depression, anxiety, hurt, unhappiness, etc. from the trauma, abuse, sickness, emotional, mental, and spiritual battles I experienced. My healing process is still in progress, but it has taught me healing doesn’t mean some long term illness doesn’t go away, healing helped me to recover and learn how to cope with it. Healing ❤️🩹 process grew me, remodeled my way of thinking, took unhealthy habits and turned them into healthy ways of living, reshaped me, and still in progress, I am grateful and hopeful for greater outcomes. I forgave the hurting people who hurt me and that healing ❤️🩹 brought restoration, reconciliation, and peace in my heart. My joy was no longer hindered. Healing looks different for everyone yet it’s all still necessary for everyone. Heal and help someone else.

“It has been said that time heals all wounds. The truth is that time does not heal anything. It merely passes. It is what we do during the passing of time that helps or hinders the healing process.” – Jay Marshall
“The place of true healing is a fierce place. It’s a giant place. It’s a place of monstrous beauty and endless dark and glimmering light. And you have to work really, really, really hard to get there, but you can do it.” – Cheryl Strayed
