You can receive so much love from everyone, but when it’s not the one you really desire to receive love from, it’s just a smile with a sad heart behind it. There’s the one my heart wishes could have read the words. How do you say goodbye to the one you wish would have said hello? I write my heart’s words to be freed from the sadness I feel from the one. The One will never know how deeply I felt. The One will never know I truly saw beyond the surface and desired to know more. The One will never know I felt the possible connection between us. The One will never know how much I learned from our encounter. The One will never know I prayed for one’s soul. The One will never know my heart.
