Make Your Way Through, You’ll Be Okay

As long as you make your way through the storm, you’ll be okay. If you stop within the storm, don’t stay there long.

I went through a horrible flood, aftermath tornado rain, I noticed when I kept driving it was getting worse and hard to see. I stopped in an unfamiliar area and called my parents at a very odd timeframe. Thank God they answered. I was in panic as I explained I can’t see. I drove from my mentor’s house where there was no storm and clear. I wanted to get home. Although I was warned about that weather, I thought I could get far enough to make it without any problems. Think again. For over a year, I been use to driving only through blizzard like weather and snow. This was my first encounter with storm weather in over a year. I was terrified when I couldn’t see. I started praying and calming myself down. I begin to breathe and my parents stayed on the phone with me the entire rest of the drive. I made it home safely but way later than expected. Why do I share this? Because when you are facing a storm in life and decide to go through it instead of waiting for it to possibly clear up some, you are taking a risk and making a decision to get through it. Well, the good news is, you’re going to make it through it. Now you might have some setbacks, stumbles, and might have to stop and go throughout the storm. Yet, you will make it through and be okay. You might have some fears that arise; it’s okay. You’re okay. With my prayers, God’s presence and guidance, and my parents staying on the phone, I begin to feel what I was believing “I’m going to be okay”. In your storm, God is with you and He is staying with you the entire time and ensuring you make it through. Know, believe, and trust you will make it through! You will be okay.
