The Pre Op provides the information
Each person is case by case process of transformation
Therefore, you’re less informed of the emotional observation
Until you’re experiencing the effects, everything is only what’s read on documentation
The chemical intertwine to your body’s nerve, vein, bloodstream is offset from medication
While you’re in recovery, you either feel everything or still numb as you hope for restoration
When the scar is ready to be uncovered, it’s now an unusual adaptation
The marking of a reminder for the needed, discomforting operation
Although I share bits of my physical surgery with you, I also share the emotional surgery too. Life is a journey tailored to each individual. We all have our own experiences. Yet, we all can find this one common thread, we all have a scar or scars we bear. (Some physical, some emotional, some mentally and some spiritual ones.) If it’s a scar, it’s gone through healing at some stage in life. Your scar doesn’t define you but remind you of what you can grow through. As I still recover, I pray you fully recover to wholeness as well.
