I thought of you often. Our last dealings were through a text message, exchanging our last words. Your words arrived with the wind like a whisper within. I misread through wind as it blew through the door creating a chill I could not stay warm enough for. There used to be a longing for shared warmth but now I wonder if you even recognize the breeze I too send back to you. Far away in distance of California you stay as I tour the world across seas on an island where there is no freeze. With the wind, I hope my words blows to you. For months have gone by and I no longer wonder why. Your smile disappears with the wind, fading away is your voice, the light that shined from your personality through your eyes, it all flows with the wind. I hope someone cares for you with a heart filled with love, compassion, kindness, and the right hand.
