There are some days the load in life seems heavy, but I remember I can cast all my cares upon Christ who strengthens me. Today I encourage you to lay your burdens down before Christ. Allow Him to take the load. Matthew 11:28-30 NIV says “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my home upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Remember you don’t have to walk through this life alone. Also, if it has been a while since you have reached out to a friend or family member, check in and sometimes having a safe space to share or just chat relieves some of your day to day alone. If help is needed beyond social interactions, seek help from a spiritual counselor or professional agency. Don’t struggle or carry on alone if you need help. Life has its challenges and we are all experiencing life, but we don’t have to alone. Some things yes you will go through alone but will become better than before as you learn, grow, and become.
One life to live, know your body, know your mental state, know your limits, know when you need a break.
It’s okay to pause from being all you are and carrying all you have. It’s okay to take time to relax, rejuvenate, rebuild, renew, and refocus.
