Lord, I acknowledge that you are the sole savior, God, healer, redeemer, mountain mover, King, the way, provider, creator, promise keeper, and my everything. However, I do not wish to attempt to fulfill any of Your roles in my life. I do not want to hinder Your work or impede Your progress. I do not want to divert the path of righteousness by dwelling on sin, knowing that I have placed my trust in You. I do not want to contradict Your word, works, movements, or promises. I do not want to allow my inner self to be consumed by worldly systems, burdened by the deep-rooted poison of false doctrine, wrong teachings, unforgivingness, frustrations, unhealed wounds, and a refusal to deny myself in order to grow closer to You. I do not want to allow anything that infects my inner self to prevent me from becoming more like You.

I don’t want to be You, Lord of my life. I wasn’t prepared to handle, carry, or know everything. You called me to rest, be still, love, follow Your guidance, and live in Your light.

What is the lesson?

Seek Christ always and let Him lead you. If you choose to follow Him, rest assured that He has your every move covered in His plans. We don’t have to worry about anything. Let today be the only focus because tomorrow is for tomorrow.
