I was just getting my car washed.
No big plan.
No scheduled interview.
No content mapped out.
But in the middle of an ordinary moment, I felt it — that nudge in my spirit.
“Pass the mic.”
Now listen… I could’ve ignored it. I could’ve told myself, This isn’t the place. I could’ve waited for a stage, a setup, a perfect backdrop. But Lesson in Everyday was never built on perfect backdrops. It was built on obedience.
So I took the leap.
Right there at the car wash.
And what came from that simple act of obedience? A powerful, positive message from someone who probably had no idea they were about to pour into others that day.
That moment reminded me of something I want to remind you of:
Not every divine assignment comes with lights and cameras.
Some come with water sprays and spinning brushes.
We miss so many lessons because we’re waiting on something bigger. But the truth is, the lesson is in the everyday. It’s in the grocery store. It’s in the line. It’s in the car wash.
When you feel led — move.
When you feel the nudge — trust it.
When the opportunity feels random — lean in.
Because obedience opens doors that planning never could.
The car wash wasn’t random.
It was a reminder.
And I’m grateful I listened.
