Sometimes inspiration shows up in places you visit all the time.
This time, Pass the Mic took me to one of my favorite stops — MandAL Buick GMC. What started as a simple visit turned into multiple meaningful conversations with people who were willing to pause and share their perspective.
I asked two questions:
How do you value self-care?
And what words would you leave with someone that are motivational, inspirational, or encouraging?
Each response was different, but they all carried one thing in common — authenticity.
Some spoke about taking time to rest.
Others shared how they stay mentally strong.
And many reminded us that self-care is not just a luxury — it’s necessary.
What made this moment even more special is that the conversations didn’t stop there.
While out and about, another opportunity came to pass the mic and capture a voice of encouragement. A reminder that inspiration doesn’t require a setting — it just requires openness.
Moments like these continue to inspire me as the host.
Hearing people share their truth, their perspective, and their encouragement reminds me why I started Lesson in Everyday. Their words don’t just impact those watching — they impact me too.
They remind me to keep going.
To keep listening.
To keep creating space for voices that deserve to be heard.
Because every conversation holds a lesson.
Every person carries something meaningful.
And every moment has the potential to inspire.
This is more than content.
This is community.
And as always…
Because the lesson is in the everyday. 💛
