There’s something special about walking into a business and instantly feeling the love, energy, and passion behind it. That’s exactly what happened when Lesson in Everyday LLC stopped by Ice & Vice in Ridgeland for another impactful episode of Pass the Mic with LA.

Owned by Derrick and Bonita Mosley of Mosley Family Incorporated, Ice & Vice is more than a frozen dessert shop — it’s an experience built around community, family, creativity, and joy.

From Italian ice and frozen yogurt to ice cream and an endless variety of toppings, every customer has the chance to create something unique. During the interview, LA even tried bubble gum Italian ice topped with gummies and Nerds for the very first time — and let’s just say it lived up to the phrase “yummy to the tummy!”

One of the most exciting parts of the visit was learning about their mobile food trailer, which allows them to bring frozen treats and unforgettable memories directly to events across the region. Whether it’s a youth sports tournament, wedding, church youth camp, family reunion, company picnic, festival, or holiday celebration, Ice & Vice brings smiles everywhere they go.

Their slogan says it best:
“When I dip. You dip. We dip!”

This episode highlighted the importance of supporting local businesses, celebrating entrepreneurship, and creating spaces where families and communities can connect.

If you’re ever in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Ice & Vice deserves a spot on your must-visit list.
