In this episode of Pass the Mic, host LA takes inspiration beyond the studio and into everyday spaces, meeting people where they are and inviting them to share their voice.
From meaningful conversations with everyday individuals to powerful words of encouragement, each moment reminds us that wisdom and inspiration can appear in the most unexpected places.
These real, unscripted conversations highlight the power of community, perseverance, love, and hope through the stories people are willing to share.
Take a moment to listen, reflect, and be encouraged.
Because the lesson is in the everyday. 🦋🎤
Before you scroll… listen to this wisdom from two entrepreneurs.
Because the lesson is in the everyday.
We met Courtney, a team member working her shift, and asked the two questions we’ve been carrying all week:
What are you grateful for?
What words would you leave us to reflect on that are inspirational, motivational, or encouraging?
Right there, in the middle of everyday work life, gratitude was spoken. Encouragement was shared. Light was poured out.
Today for Starter Week, we took Pass the Mic to the parking lot of Kroger — just living life, running errands like everyone else.
But while we were out, we asked one simple question:
“What are you grateful for?”
And…
“What would you leave the audience with that’s inspiring, motivating, or encouraging?”
No stage.
No spotlight.
Just ordinary people in their everyday space.
No stage. No script. Just gratitude and real voices.
Starter Week continues with a powerful reminder from an everyday moment at Kroger.

On an ordinary day, we stepped into real life and asked everyday people one powerful question: Why do you do what you do?
From workplaces to passion projects, from careers to callings — the answers were honest, inspiring, and deeply relatable.
This episode is a reminder that purpose isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s found in simply showing up faithfully every day.
Watch, reflect, and be encouraged.
Because there’s always a lesson in everyday.
Today, I asked everyday people two powerful questions: “What inspires you?” and “What words would you leave with someone who needs encouragement?” The answers were honest and raw, showing that inspiration can come from anyone—strangers, mothers, workers, or those quietly fighting unseen battles. This is what Lesson In Everyday is about: finding lessons in real people and stories. I’m mobile and bringing the mic to you. Let’s explore, because there’s a lesson in today.
This year for Valentine’s Day, Lesson In Everyday did something special.
We passed the mic.
We asked married couples how long they’ve been together and how it feels to celebrate love on this day.
We asked parents who they were spending their Valentine’s with.
We asked everyday people how they were truly feeling — beyond the flowers and cards.
And what we captured was beautiful.
Real love.
Real stories.
Real gratitude.
Real growth.
Because love isn’t just romance.
It’s commitment.
It’s faith.
It’s self-worth.
It’s family.
It’s learning to celebrate where you are.
It’s a blessing to share this platform with my very own mother, a praying mother! Thank you for your support! 🫶🏾🙌🏾🙏🏽🦋
Join us as we look in the mirror — not through flaws, but through faith. 🙏🏾
Kayla Hannah, better known as Lulu, is the powerhouse behind Club LuLu Fitness and the founder of LuLuFit & Co. What does it really cost to stay stuck?
In this episode of the Lesson In Everyday Podcast, Host LA sits down with Stacey Singh for an honest, faith-centered conversation about healing, forgiveness, and the courage it takes to move forward.
Stacey shares her personal journey of healing after divorce, the role of faith in overcoming pain, and why movement cannot happen without healing. Together, they explore how vulnerability, self-reflection, and trusting God can lead to freedom, peace, and wholeness.
This episode is for anyone who feels called to move forward but needs courage to take the next step.
