What If Your Season of Waiting Is Also Your Season of Becoming?
Hey, beautiful people! 💛
Can we have a real conversation for a moment?
Being single doesn’t mean your life is on pause. It doesn’t mean you’re behind, forgotten, or missing out on the beautiful things God has prepared for you.
Sometimes, this very season is where we discover who we are, strengthen our faith, heal from yesterday, and begin embracing the person we’re becoming.
But here’s something else I’ve learned: You don’t have to walk that journey alone.
That’s one of the reasons I created Single, Faithful, Still Becoming — A Christian Singles Gathering, an extension of the heart and mission behind Lesson in Everyday.
A Community, Not a Dating Event!
Let’s clear something up right away! 😊
This is NOT a dating event or matchmaking service.
We’re building something different.
A welcoming virtual community where Christian singles from different backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and walks of life can connect through genuine conversations, encouragement, prayer, and shared experiences.
You don’t have to pretend you’ve figured everything out.
You don’t have to have the perfect testimony.
And you certainly don’t have to feel pressured to share anything you’re not comfortable discussing.
Just come with an open heart and a willingness to grow.
What Happens During Our Virtual Gatherings?
Imagine logging into Google Meet and finding a group of people who are not there to judge you, evaluate your relationship status, or tell you how you should be living your life.
Instead, we’re coming together to encourage one another.
Our conversations focus on:
- Faith and spiritual growth: Strengthening our relationship with God while navigating everyday life.
- Identity and purpose: Discovering who we are beyond our relationship status.
- Healing and personal development: Learning from past experiences without allowing them to define our future.
- Accountability and encouragement: Supporting one another through life’s different seasons.
- Friendship and community: Building genuine connections with people who understand the importance of intentional living.
- Prayer and reflection: Making room for encouragement, wisdom, and spiritual renewal.
Some days we may laugh. Other days we may reflect. And sometimes, we may simply need someone willing to listen.
That’s community.
That’s connection.
And that’s part of what Lesson in Everyday is all about.
Different Backgrounds. Shared Faith. One Welcoming Community.
One of the beautiful things about life is that we all have different stories.
Some are single and have never married. Others are divorced or widowed. Some are beginning again, while others are learning to enjoy the season they’re currently experiencing.
Our journeys may look different, but each person’s story matters.
You belong in the conversation, too.
Whether you’re 25, 45, 65, or somewhere in between, if you’re an adult navigating singleness and seeking faith-centered fellowship, you’re welcome to join us.

A Personal Invitation From LA 💛
I want you to know something.
I didn’t create this community because I have every answer. I created it because I believe we can learn from one another, encourage one another, and make room for the lessons God continues to teach us.
I believe in the power of a genuine conversation.
I believe sometimes a simple word of encouragement can help someone keep going.
And I believe our seasons of waiting should never cause us to stop living, learning, growing, or pursuing our God-given purpose.
Ecclesiastes 4:9 reminds us that two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor.
We were never meant to navigate every season of life without meaningful fellowship.
So, whether this is your first time connecting with Lesson in Everyday or you’re considering joining us again, I would love to welcome you.
And if you need a more personal conversation, you’re also welcome to reach out about scheduling a one-on-one connection with me.
Before You Go, Remember This…
Your relationship status does not determine your worth.
Your waiting season does not cancel your purpose.
And your journey is still unfolding.
You can be single, faithful, growing, healing, thriving, and still becoming — all at the same time.
So don’t just watch another year pass by wishing you had connected with a community of people who understand.
Come join the conversation.
With love, faith, and encouragement,
