The process has many parts, and it’s different steps within. Either we choose to trust it or screw it. Don’t screw it up by being impatient. No one said you have to be satisfied where you are but let the process be something you allow to take place and be patient. It’s complicated sometimes. Stick with it and allow the process to process. Take the time you need to be still.
If I am winning and you’re a part of my ship, we win together. ~ my heart speaks
Self reflecting at the end of the day and beginning of my week. There’s a lot to hear in silence. I am not talking about other voices or noises but the silence is what it takes to sit and reflect. See where you can improve, when you need to go apologize, where you need to grow, what you need to get yourself back to becoming. Silence had me meditate and slow down to just focus and pace. Silence gave me time to dump the negativity from my busyness. Silence reminded me to clean my mental file cabinet and to breathe. Silence had me to place my worship music on and sit still. Silence pulled me away from everyone and everything else to rebuild where I was cracking (mentally, emotionally , physically, and spiritually)
When I chose rest, I chose to sleep and not worry. When I chose rest, I chose to let go and focus on what I can control. When I chose rest, I chose to let others know what I refuse to do is give energy towards drama, mess, insecurities, or fear. When I chose rest, I chose my health, sanity, peace, salvation and happiness. When I chose rest, I chose to put myself first for the time being to do nothing. When I chose rest, I chose to get out of God’s way and my own blessings. When I chose rest, I chose to ease my mind and exit out my box of thoughts. When I chose rest, I seen the difference my choice made in my life. I was relieved and restful. My mind, body, and energy was restored.
Butterfly I see you. I see you resting on the wall. I see your beautiful colors and the way you land right on the leaf. I see your wings spread fully and you flying graciously. I see you Butterfly. When the wind is strong, you find your way to hold on. I see you embracing the flow. The beauty of your glow on the flower you chose. I see you. As I see you, I see me. I see me holding strong as the gust of wind tries to blow me down. I see myself with my wings still spread out and having the courage to still fly after the storm came and gone. I see me like you hoping God’s light glows through my wings and heart no matter what I been through or going through.
There are some things in life you cannot enjoy without your friends. When you truly lost your way and feel so disconnected from self and world around, you need to turn to your friends. You need your friends to share the love, support, prayers, testimonies, laughter, and tears with. There’s no escaping the need for friends.
Being in a foreign country away from normalcy isn’t all easy days. I thought just finding myself on my journey would be enough fruit itself and progressing through healing, but what I know now is, I need my friends. I need the connection and the chime in every once in a while to keep the connection, the love, the support, the joy flowing through our hearts and lives. When I was losing sleep at night and tossing and turning, I felt alone and low. It was when I reached out to my friends to check in with them, I experienced the lift that was needed. There’s necessity in your friendship and your friendship needs watered to continue to grow. As you need them, they need you. Even if it’s just a text, it’s necessary. It makes a difference. Enjoy, water, appreciate, and keep your friendship alive.
