Many hear the word escape and relate it to danger ⚠️. Escaping could be as easy as needing to get free of a place, environment, atmosphere, or break away from mentally. Sometimes you need a good escape for a day to revamp some layouts in your life. There are times escaping is for freeing your mind and heart. Recognize when you need to just escape for a day. Listen to your inner being to breathe, rest, and to listen for a sound mind. Finding balance again is necessary.
In a space unknown, I’m finding it hard to hold on. Everything seems to be falling apart and it feels like I’m walking into the dark. Alone in this cold, cold place. All I ever did was say Yes to Your will and Your Way. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but I didn’t see how many lies were going to be told against me, I didn’t see the multitude rising, I didn’t know that I would be in a place cold, where hearts are stone. In the midst of it all, I still believe in Your Will and Your Way. I promised I would follow you through the good and bad and the ups and down. My Heavenly Father, I fall at your feet seeking your wisdom. I know I can’t do this on my own. I know I can’t fight in this spiritual war alone. Please protect my peace, please protect my heart from any anger, please protect me from all the hurt and harm that’s trying to steal my identity, who you are grooming me to be. Please- turn my tears and sorrow into your unexplainable joy. With your strength, I’ll keep holding on. With your help, l’Il keep fighting strong. I trust your will and your way. This here is my heart’s cry and what I pray. Rise above the challenges. Rise above the hurt. Rise above the stress. Rise above the mess. Rise, Rise up. You will and shall overcome.
Everything changes in life. No matter how we look at it or word it. Changes are things we have to accept no matter if we like it or not. My encouragement to you is own up to the life you’re living now. Fearing changes in life can hold you back. Be okay with owning your past and one day facing it, but never let it be something that keeps you from you you are now and who you’re becoming. Maybe you made some choices or mistakes in the past that caused others hurt, the best you can do is own it, accept it, and let yourself live now. Embrace the present and realize you have grownup. Many people, places, hobbies you may have outgrown, but it is all okay because who you are now is who you have to embrace. The journey of life has lessons and with growing you learn. So don’t fear change, don’t fear new places, new locations or new people because of your past. You keep growing and remember no one or yourself should fought you for growth. Stay encouraged and strong. Love you!
No one can truly tell you how life will turn out because it’s literally one day at a time. What I can do is share with you my journey. I haven’t always been this version of myself. I have loved and hurt people. I have made many mistakes in life. The actual location state and city of home has been a place I fought years to not relocate from because I felt I would forget the part of me I wanted to hold tight to. I thought I could hold on to all the friendships, relationships, the familiarity forever, but what I realize is that none of this that you leave behind makes home alone. I believe home is the memories you created, the good and bad choices you made growing up, the lessons you learned, the people you met, and family you were raised with makes home something you cherish and define in your heart. Well, this is my story and what I recently learned. You don’t really leave home when all of your upbringing is what helped you become who you are today or who you are working to become. In life you outgrow a lot, one thing for sure you choose to hold in your heart the memories and all of the rest I listed above. You will always have that part or you if you choose to hold on to those memories, people and moments in your heart. We outgrow people and that’s okay. The good thing about home being defined and held in your heart is you get to remember those who crossed your path as a part of your journey. Don’t fear losing a part of you. Don’t fear letting go either. Embrace the opportunity to create new memories, meet new people, have a new start, and to be the best you can be. Transition, changes, newness is all a part of life we have to at some point accept and embrace. Make the best of your life. Always remember home is in your heart so you don’t have to worry about losing that part. Love you and stay encouraged.
Don’t hold back or hold it all in. Sometimes you have to let go and let it out. What’s inside that needs to heal has to come out. What’s inside that needs to blossom has to come out. Your authenticity has to come out. Don’t hold the tears until you’re bursting. Don’t keep from grieving or feeling because of fear. Let it out. Don’t wait until bursting out. Express yourself. Take a day or some time to just let go and let it all out. Tears, screams, laughter, the innermost emotions and feelings. Heal, recover, forgive, give yourself time to build back up. Don’t wait till bursting, but if you do hold it until you’re bursting, let it out to get back to okay.
