Laughter I heard is good for the soul. Don’t you want a healthy soul? Well, comedy is where it is. Don’t be so uptight you forget to enjoy humorous moments. It’s okay to crack a smile and giggle. Good humor I’m talking good humor. Laughing makes me feel good. So try it out! There has to be some moment you can think on where it was hilarious you almost wet yourself or maybe you had a moment like that today. The silliest things can make you laugh. Animals are adorable but they do hilarious things in nature. Put on a comedy show for a night. Have yourself an amazing laugh it out moment. Sometimes we just need laughter.
When you reach a detour sign in your life or an alternate route you have to take, it doesn’t mean you won’t still reach your life destiny or destination. Sometimes those detour and alternate routes are needed to keep you from some things that were not foreseen. Don’t turn around or give up because you come too far. This detour or alternate route might be a great prevention for you. Maybe it’s something you still need to learn. It could be possible that you are needed for another mission during your journey before you reach your destination in life. Don’t get hung up on your detour, just keep going. The detour could be for your safety; it could be great purpose for you to take a little longer on your route in life. Learn what you need to. Discover what’s new on this route for you. God truly has a plan no matter what and it isn’t always clear in our sight.
“Refuel your soul, love. This is a long drive.” ― JH Hard“Self-care is how you take your power back.” ― Lalah Delia“Relax, Recharge and Reflect. Sometimes it’s OK to do nothing.” ― Izey Victoria Odiase ~therandomvibez.com
Just as a vehicle, aircraft, or anything that runs on fuel ⛽️, we too run on fuel(energy, physically , mentally , emotionally , and spiritually). Once you are out of fuel, it’s very rare you’ll keep running or going. Do you take time to refuel? Do you check your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual gauge before you pour out? Do you check you gauge before you keep going? Do you self check or self assess? After trauma happens, after tragedy occurs, after a big storm in life, do you check to see if you need to refuel? You cannot ride on empty. You cannot keep pouring out on empty. You cannot give your best when you are empty and need rest. Whatever you do to refuel in those areas you give of yourself a lot, make sure you take that time to refuel. You have to be poured back into spiritually especially after spiritual warfare. You have to rebuild your strength physically after you have been running on limited sleep. Hopefully you get the message, take time for self care and check in on self to make sure you are good to keep going or do you need to stop for fuel?
What do you do when you don’t have it all figured out? What do you do when you lose someone unexpectedly? What do you do when you weren’t ready to let go? What do you do when you feel like everything you thought you knew seem to be so distant? What do you do when the tear drop hits the ground? What do you do when hope is little to none? What do you do when you feel your heart jumping out your chest? What do you do when you fall down?
You get back up. You keep holding on. You keep the faith. You believe even when it’s hard. You hold on for the joy to come. You hold on for it’s the right thing to do. You have to hold on because deep inside you know you never stopped believing. Keep holding on. Keep pressing forward. Keep trusting. Keep fighting for the good and what’s right. Keep holding on no matter what.
“Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it all into words is all that is necessary. – Margaret Cousins” found on graciousquotes.com
Today I encourage you to show appreciation to those who are in your life, who cross your path, and who you see today. Appreciation goes a long way. It makes a difference. Go knock on a door with appreciation. Go walk to a desk of someone’s with appreciation. Let’s spread the spirit of appreciation. Taking time to say more than thank you and be specific with your appreciation is heartfelt.
